Mr. Nasrollah Afjei was born in 1933 in Tehran.
Afjei has more than 25 years artistic activities, by focusing on calligraphy. He has learnt different techniques and experienced variety of materials, and received Art Diploma. Later, due to his expertise and innovative works, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance offered him the First Degree Art Certificate.
His activities include 7 solo exhibitions since 1973, and several group exhibitions.
For appreciation of his works at International Festival of Calligraphy at Tehran, he received medal of honor.
Also, he has been introduced two times as the winner of painters biennials held for four seasons. He is lecturer at different Colleges of Art in Iran. His artistic works are kept at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, Kerman Museum, Quran Museum, and many private collections.

-The Iranian Art Festival at Doseldorf /Germany;
-Lateral exhibition of non-allied countries seminar held at Jakarta /Indonesia;
